 "EDUCATION IS

 THE TRANSMISSION

 OF CIVILIZATION"

- WILL DURANT

The average cost of tuition and fees in 2016 was reported to be around $10,000 for in-state residents and $25,000 for out-of-state residents at public universities. Unfortunately, students living in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods across the United States face huge financial barriers when it comes to attending college - with many choosing not to enroll. The Ray Strickland Foundation recognizes this disparity and offers scholarships to young people 18 and under who are looking to make a positive contribution to society.
